K-9 Clinic dogs and their handlers rock it Saturday mornings at the clinic and Wednesday evenings at the beach. Training and fun bring smiles to every dog and person around. Who can resist a well-behaved dog? “Hey, kid, you’re new here, huh? Lemme ‘splain da rules of the training field…” “Looking handsome. Being smart. Ya, it’s what I do best.”   “Hey Dad! You know I got the moves. Throw me that hoop.” “Put the left paw in. Put the left paw out. Put the left paw in and shake it all about. Do the hokey pokey and  turn yourself around. That’s what it’s all about!  Poppy is a distinguished Airedale who prefers to take in the aroma of her obstacles, like a fine wine, before she makes her move.  Then Poppy gingerly hops over as Bob secretly prays for no broken bones.  “The answer is: Yes! Blondes DO have more fun. Even in obedience classes!”  “I’ll take my rawhide straight up…no…make that on the rocks. With a twist of beef liver.”  “Who, innocent little me? I’m just sittin’ here quietly.” “Oh please don’t make me sit next to the smartest kid in class!” “Ah ya, right there. This obedience stuff is hard work! It’s time for a little sugar now.”
